We shot again on the same day I shot with Abi. It was such a great day. The smell of the ocean, the feel of the breeze, the late afternoon light, it was magical. On top of all of this, she was there.....in a tutu! Yes, a pretty blue tutu. Oh so much win!

She looked so lovely on the beach. It was one of those sights that makes me so glad that I am a photographer. I can keep those moments forever. I love the beach and I love my muse. That day will live in a happy place in my memory forever. It also found a happy place in my portfolio. Did I mention win?

My lovely muse decided to come visit me in California. Apparently she couldn't wait a month and a half to see me. Hehehe. I was, of course, more than happy to have her come out. She is one of my favorite people in the world and always pushes me to do my best.

I was overjoyed to see her. (She is the piece of home that I missed the most) Having her come to California where we could spend time together and make art means more to me than I can possibly express. She made the trip so much more special and therapeutic.

I took her to a park where I told her that we would be climbing a hill. Being from the Midwest, she had no idea what a real hill looks like. LOL Anxious but brave she climbed up there wearing a short skirt and flip flops. I love her. The light, unfortunately, did not cooperate with us that day. I did manage to get some shots that I like though.

When I was searching through models to work with during my California trip I came upon Abi's portfolio. I was instantly struck by her unique beauty. There is something quite compelling about her that I cannot quite describe. I knew that I had to have her for my portfolio. Our schedules almost didn't work out, but luckily I got to jump in on her shoot with DaxWax.

We shot on a nude beach north of San Francisco. It was a gorgeous afternoon and I fell in love with that day. The light was fantastic and it worked really well with her skin tone. The shoot was an absolute joy.

I wish so dearly that I lived closer to Abi. She is such an awesome person. She is funny, charismatic, and mature beyond her years. If she didn't live across the county, I would work with her on a regular basis. She and I must get together on my next trip to CA. And next time she's going to bring her camera so she can shoot me too!!!

Elizabeth Moody

While I was out in California Elizabeth sent me a message about working together. I normally work with short girls, so I thought this would be a nice change of pace. We met up at the rose garden in San Jose. This was really kinda special for me. The rose garden is 2 blocks from my old high school. I spent a lot of time there (usually during school hours lol). So it was really nice to have this little blast from the past.

Liz was so easy to work with. She hardly needs any direction. When I return to California I intend to set up another shoot with her.

Tracie Hanna

Tracie rocks my friggen socks!!! In late August Tracie contacted me about shooting. I loved her look so much that I had to make time to shoot with her before I left for California. I am soooooo glad that I did. She drove up from Columbus on a Wednesday night and we met up at the club I go to. We danced and laughed and had a fun time. It was so great to get to socialize with her before our shoot. The next day we had a great shoot. She's is a blast and really chill to work with. I believe that we will see more and more great images from this girl. As soon as I can make it down to Columbus, I will definitely be working with her again. Here are some images from our shoot.

Missy Vinyl

I have wanted to work with Missy for a while. She is a freaking fantastic model. I finally got the chance to work with her on my birthday in August. It was one of the only things that went right that day. We had a very limited amount of time to shoot, but I think we pulled it out well. The shoot lasted about 15 minutes total. I reeeeally must work with her again when we have more time. I hope you enjoy the shots from our shoot.

I finally got the opportunity to work with Rachey back in June. I totally adore this girl. She is gorgeous and fun and really sweet. I hope to get another chance to work with her in the future.

It seems like all my friends have one. I guess I'll follow suit. Blah.

Here are a few shots that I did of Miss Alison this past Saturday. She is an absolute joy to work with. She's gorgeous, she makes me laugh, and she totally rocks my camera. What more could you ask for?
